The Motorcycle and the Cat
Juan had always dreamed of owning a motorcycle. One day, he saved up enough money and bought a red bike. He was very happy and took great care of it. Every morning, before going to work, he would clean his motorcycle and make it shine. One day, Juan noticed something strange. His motorcycle was covered in cat fur. The next day, he saw a gray cat sleeping on the seat. Juan didn't hate cats, but it bothered him that his bike was dirty and full of fur. Moreover, he was afraid the cat might damage the bike with its claws or leave droppings. Juan decided to scare the cat away so it wouldn't climb onto the motorcycle again. When he saw the cat, he clapped loudly, and the cat ran away. However, the next day, the cat was back, sleeping on the motorcycle. Juan needed another solution. He thought about using a scented liquid to repel the cat. He went to a store and bought a citrus-scented spray, which cats dislike. He sprayed the seat with the liquid. At first, it seemed to work, but after a few days, the cat was back on the bike. Juan was frustrated. He didn't want to harm the cat, but he also didn't want it sleeping on his motorcycle. Then he had an idea: buy a cover for the motorcycle. That way, he could protect the bike from the cat, dust, and rain. Juan went to a motorcycle shop and bought a sturdy cover. That night, he covered the bike with it. The next day, the cat wasn't on the motorcycle. The cover worked. Juan was happy because his bike was clean and protected, and the cat was safe. Thinking about the cat, Juan bought a pet bed and placed it next to the motorcycle, but the cat ignored it and found another place to sleep. Still, Juan could enjoy his motorcycle without worries. He learned that with a little patience and creativity, he could find a solution without resorting to violence. Now, whenever he saw the cat in the neighborhood, he would smile and say, "Thanks for understanding, friend," while petting it, and the cat would purr.
