The Pool

Elena was very excited because she had been invited to a pool party. The party would be on Saturday, and all her friends would be there. Elena wanted to find a nice swimsuit for the party, so she went to the mall with her mom.

Elena was looking for a modest one-piece swimsuit with a pretty design. After visiting several stores, she finally found one she liked. It was blue with small white star patterns. "It's perfect!" said Elena with a smile.

On Saturday morning, Elena got ready for the party. She put on her new swimsuit and packed a towel, sunscreen, and a sun hat. Her parents drove her to her friend Sofia's house, where the party was being held. The pool was big and very beautiful.

When Elena arrived, her friends were already swimming and playing in the water. There were balloons, music, and lots of laughter. Elena joined them, and they started playing with a beach ball. They were having a great time.

Suddenly, Elena saw that Diego, Sofia's little brother, was playing near the edge of the pool. Diego slipped and fell into the water. Since he didn't know how to swim well, he began to sink.

Elena realized what was happening and, without thinking twice, jumped into the water to help Diego. She swam quickly to him and grabbed him by the arms. With strength, she pulled him out of the water and brought him to a safe place.

The other kids and adults saw what had happened and ran to help. Diego's mom hugged her son and thanked Elena. "You're a heroine," she said.

Elena felt happy for helping Diego. After that, everyone at the party continued enjoying the pool but with more caution. They played more games and ate delicious snacks. At the end of the day, Elena was tired but very happy.

When she got home, she told her parents all about the party and how she had saved Diego. Her parents were very proud of her.

Elena went to sleep that night with a big smile, remembering how much fun she had that day.
